You may have noticed I have a new last name. I got married on May 10th and now go by Barbara Horsley! It was a tough decision to change my name since everyone knows me professionally on Google and Yelp reviews as Barbara Loomis but it just felt right during this new chapter in life. Mark is a wonderful man and sweet as can be. I couldn’t be happier!
In case you are wondering what I’ve been up to business-wise…I’m still focusing on teaching through my online courses. Since having to close my business in Oregon due to the restrictions surrounding the pandemic, I have yet to start seeing clients in Michigan. It didn’t make sense to sign a new lease and try to build an in-person practice not knowing if I’d have to close down again.
I’ve always wanted to treat clients in my own healing cottage on my own land. A peaceful retreat in the woods surrounded by the sound of nature. So, I’m currently looking at building a cottage office. This may take some time, but it is something I’ve desired for decades so what’s another year or two. It will also give me space to film my next online course on digestion!
This last year I added group Zoom calls to the Womb Care course, so I now have 10 additional hours added to the Womb Care course library! It was so fun to meet and chat with everyone during the calls. I also shared new information that wasn’t in the course content, so check it out if you are in the course.
