If you didn’t make it to the live Google Hangout, you can watch it here. I answer questions regarding fibroids, uterine positions, painful periods, prolapsed uteri, diastasis recti, and how movement and manual therapies can help. We covered a lot of information in a short amount of time, so I’ve included a resource guide below in case you’d like to learn more on any given subject. The information is general and is not meant to be medical advice.

We didn’t get to all the questions, so I’ll try to answer those in another post. Thank you all for showing up and writing in!

Books:
Diastasis Recti: The Whole Body Solution to Abdominal Weakness and Separation

Classes Taught by Barbara Horsley (formerly Barbara Loomis):

Womb Care
Abdominal Scars Massage Course
Make Shift Happen: an abdominal Massage course for constipation relief
Professional Abdominal Massage Training

Studies I mentioned in the interview:
Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and reversible female infertility: is there a link?
Increased mortality for neurological and mental diseases following early bilateral oophorectomy.

In the video, I mentioned making strong infusions of nettle leaf with an ounce of dried herb. Personally, I like to steep it for four hours or overnight, as taught by Susan Weed. However, this may result in a taste too intense for some, and four hours is too long for delicate aromatic plants. I don’t believe I mentioned that in the video, so I made this guide for your convenience.
