This introductory, one-day course provides the participants with a fundamental overview of anatomy and physiology of the abdominal cavity, history and lineage of the Arvigo techniques, and hands on application of the techniques for one's self. The course is centered around the ancient Maya techniques, which help restore blood, lymph, nerve and energy flow to the abdominal organs with an emphasis on restoring the uterus to her optimal position. As with any natural healing, these techniques seek to restore the body to its natural balance. So if you have fertility challenges, painful periods, digestive problems, irregular menses, endometriosis, PMS, tipped uterus or if you just want to learn preventative self-care techniques, this class is for you!

Based on 30-years experience and training in massage, napropathy, herbology, and spiritual healing, Dr. Rosita Arvigo, DN developed these techniques which now bear her name. This modality incorporates a holistic approach to health care. Dr Arvigo has lived in Central America for over 30 years, where she studied with various traditional healers, the most notable being Don Elijio Panti, the renowned Maya Shaman of Belize.

LMTs receive seven CEUs through NCBTMB and acupuncturists receive seven PDA points. This course is for anyone interested in learning how to better care for their own reproductive and digestive systems. This class does not qualify you to do the techniques on others.
